How to connect a funding source to your Betterment account

Betterment defines a funding source as the external bank account you use for your investment account transactions, whether it is contributing to or withdrawing from the account. Follow these instructions to link a funding source: 

• Log into your Betterment account here.
• Click on “Settings” within the left, purple column.
• Then select the “Funding accounts” tab. Click “Connect a funding account”.
• Follow the rest of the instructions in the portal. Please note, you will be asked to input your bank login credentials to verify your information.
